The average American produces 3.5 pounds of garbage every day. This equates to 1,300 pounds of garbage per year for every man, women and child in the U.S. And we're running out of places to put that garbage. Dining Services is committed to working together with our customers, clients and manufacturers to reduce that waste and to build a better environment for ourselves and our future generations.
Our most successful and generous support comes with our Tulane Recycle Mug program. Not only does use of this mug substantially reduce waste, but every sale of the mug directly benefits the recycle club on-campus.
Recycle Mugs are now available in the LBC Food Court for Only $3. Fill it up with your favorite soda for only $0.99! Not only will you be reducing waste, but you will be saving money. Come purchase your customized Tulane limited edition recycle mug today!

Call for Mystery Shoppers

In order to meet our goal of exceeding your dining expectations, Tulane Dining Services is recruiting a diverse group of Tulane students, faculty and staff to participate in our Mystery Shopper Program.
This program meets one hour a week in a group setting in which various dining locations have been "shopped" and then evaluated. The locations include:

LOYOLA

Loyola Renovation 2008 :
Loyola Dining Services is excited about the new direction of the Underground, the Orleans Room and the retail space.
The underground, now called Satchmo's, will include programmable staging, featuring Jazz performances and poetry slams with a true New Orleans Jazz club feel. Also the space will include a gourmet deli concept with Loyola favorites like loaded baked potatoes and classic New Orleans sandwiches.
The Orleans Room will close May 8th and will not reopen until the beginning of the fall 2008 semester.
The renovations will bring the space up to date with a new color scheme and new furniture. Also each food station will become a made-to-order station featuring all of Loyola students’ favorites with additional items.
The retail space which currently encompasses the C-Store and the Smoothie King will completely expand. The C-Store will close on May 23rd for the summer and will expand to include a new grill, Flambeaux's, among other concepts.
Lastly, CC's Coffee will be another addition to Loyola Dining Services. Scheduled to open the first week in July, CC's will bring a local favorite to campus.
